Case Study

International Rescue Committee

Reimagining a tentpole event.

Assignment

The International Rescue Committee’s Rescue Dinner is their signature, annual event and fundraiser that showcases the impact of their work in the U.S. and around the globe. Last year’s dinner was canceled due to Covid-19, and this year was the first-ever virtual Global Rescue Dinner.

Solution

We concepted the event, produced the event and all video content (including the two-minute anthem video that kicked off the event), and designed and developed the event microsite.

Featuring live conversation between IRC CEO David Miliband and lawyer/activist Bryan Stevenson, this year’s 55-minute event celebrated the vital work of the IRC team and the courage and resilience of refugees and displaced people around the world.

Results

Captioned in real-time in six languages, the event welcomed viewers from over 100 different countries–a testament to the global impact of IRC.
