Case Study
International Rescue Committee
IRC helps people affected by humanitarian crises recover and rebuild their lives. We teamed up with the organization to produce a global digital event, bringing people together to rally behind and support refugees.

The Challenge
IRC’s annual Gala Rescue Dinner was canceled in 2020. For 2021, we needed to come up with a safe and socially distanced way to host the event. We started by asking ourselves: how do we make a digital event as or even more impactful than a live one?
What We Did
- Virtual Event Production
- Website & UX
The Solution
We developed a livestream event that highlighted IRC’s work, growing impact, and the stories of refugees around the world. We handled all production needs to ensure the 55-minute live event ran smoothly and developed an accompanying microsite. Viewers from around the world tuned in for a live conversation between ICR’s CEO, David Miliband, and lawyer/activist, Bryan Stevenson, showing that the public was captivated and motivated to make a difference through the power of the event.
The Impact
IRC’s 2021 Rescue Dinner was a huge success, exhibiting virtual engagement that went beyond even our strong expectations.
